The Brookwood is the quietest apartment complex I have ever lived in. The location is amazing and worth every penny. In my experience the office & maintenance staffs at Brookwood have always been prompt to respond to maintenance & other questions. The Brookwood has 3 shopping centers within 1.3 miles, which is about a 24-minute walk.

The application and move in process was the most stress free leasing and moving experience I've ever had. I have been a resident of The Brookwood Apartments for almost six years and would highly recommend this apartment complex. The office staff is very helpful -- above and beyond.

I would STRONGLY recommend against living here. This property has an inexperienced and unprofessional staff. I have had numerous terrible experiences living at this residence. The Brookwood is within 3 minutes or 1.5 miles from Samford University. It is also near Virginia College, Birmingham and Univ. of Ala. at Birmingham.
For more details, please check each floor plan or contact the property directly. The location is great and the price is cheap. That’s the only thing keeping this from being a 0 Star review. Management sucks and work orders take forever if ever completed.

Our renovations were half done, ceiling half painted, paint peeling off walls, baseboards cracked, vinyl in the kitchen is coming up, paint on almost all of the light fixtures. We are not renewing our lease and are not likely to recommend this place to anyone. I have only been here a month but we love it. Nice ,safe and family oriented neighborhood even for the fur babies.Friendly but quiet neighbors. Especially Tyler the leasing person that assisted me.
